About the Water Section Wherever people live and spend time, whether in a large city or a rural area, there is a need for infrastructure for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater. WSP Water Section offers a complete range of consulting services in these areas. Our consultants have comprehensive expertise from overarching investigations in early stages to detailed technical solutions in pipeline and process technology. Our services also include operation and maintenance issues, water and wastewater economics, stormwater and flood investigations, modeling of natural watercourses, planning issues, as well as legal and water organization matters.

With our 180 consultants in 22 offices across the country, we are a strong player and dare to call ourselves specialists in water management. Our national section actively works with technology development, resource allocation, and knowledge transfer to ensure that both the working climate for employees and delivery to customers maintain top quality. Water issues are included in all major community projects today, and in the future, climate adaptation issues will only become more relevant. Challenges that we at WSP see as having an important advisory role in solving together with our clients.

About the Position We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a project manager within water and wastewater. You will have a key position in both smaller and larger assignments that you carry out together with colleagues in a project format. The work involves responsibility for customer contact, budget, progress, and problem-solving in the preparation of, among other things, tender documents, construction documents, and investigations in various types of projects for our clients, locally and nationally.

At WSP, we highly value innovation and knowledge sharing. As a project manager in your technical area, part of the work will involve developing our internal process and delivery models, as well as competency development and coaching of your project colleagues.

You will join an open team with a high level of competence and good camaraderie. We help each other become even more knowledgeable in our areas and provide our clients with the best technical solutions. In addition to your context with like-minded individuals in water and wastewater, you will work closely with colleagues in other technical areas in our multidisciplinary assignments. We operate in a global corporation and have the opportunity to work with international colleagues and benefit from their experiences and competencies as part of our deliveries.

Your Profile To be successful in this position, you have a relevant post-secondary education, at least 5 years of experience in water and wastewater design, and previous experience in project management. You have an interest in responsibility roles, mentorship, and seeing colleagues grow. It is important for us that you want to work and develop in the consulting role, and therefore we value a good ability to communicate and a businesslike approach. We also believe that you are a social person who appreciates a varied everyday life.

Since our deliveries are primarily in Swedish, it is important to have good knowledge of the language in both spoken and written form.
